Eco-transition lessons linked to Korea's 2022 national curriculum

Lesson plans and slides designed with eco-transition pedagogy. Created and shared by classroom teachers, aligned to curriculum standards โ€” with online and in-person training.

OUR PEDAGOGY

Eco-transition pedagogy grounded in the ethics of responsibility

We translate responsibility to future generations and nature into the language of the elementary classroom, designing lessons around three kinds of responsibility.

01

Risk awareness

โ€œWhat I buy reaches faraway nature and the distant future.โ€

Students trace the life of things and food and how carbon accumulates โ€” imagining the future with care rather than fear.

02

Solidarity

โ€œWe are responsible even to nature that cannot speak and children not yet born.โ€

An empty chair holds a place for future generations and nature; students take turns speaking from it.

03

Restraint

โ€œBuying less, using longer and sharing are great choices.โ€

Frugality is not a lecture but a way of life chosen by people who look ahead.
